We’re proud to celebrate a special milestone for Kevin’s youngest son, Lucas, as he prepares to graduate from Davidson Academy. His hard work, dedication, and accomplishments have been truly inspiring. Congratulations, Lucas — your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all that you achieve next!

Our Senior Spotlight for this afternoon is Lucas Collier. Lucas has attended Davidson Academy since Kindergarten (Lifer!). His favorite things about DA are the amazing teachers and administrators. After graduation, Lucas plans to pursue a career in music. Following that Top 9 finish on American Idol, we’d say he’s well on his way to doing that!

His favorite Bible memory verse is Psalms 23 – “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
