This was a frame-off restoration from the previous owner who bought it from his brother in law, who bought it new. It was originally blue and had a Weiand supercharger sticking out of the hood (see pictures). The frame was treated with Por15 protectant, the motor was rebuilt, tremec 5spd added, and obviously a beautiful metallic gray and black paint job followed by a cut/buff/polish. I snagged it from him in Utah before he was about to send it to the Barrett Jackson auction. Since I’ve had it, I’ve gone through and tightened up a few things, as well as flushed and changed all fluids, had a shop get it properly aligned so it cruises down the road perfectly straight at 75mph. The car is super clean, inside, outside, and underneath, garage kept with cover. It’s been my dream car since I wasa kid , and I’ve enjoyed the attention it gets as well as collecting trophies at car shows, but I’m ready to get back into a newer Vette that I can take to the track and trips.
