Fall is the perfect time for a health check—and that includes colorectal cancer screening.

Colorectal cancer screening is important year-round and can help find cancer early, when treatment works best.

Most average-risk adults should begin screening at age 45.

You have options, and your healthcare provider can help you choose what’s right for you.

✅ FIT (F***l Immunochemical Test) is a stool-based test you can usually do at home.
✅ It looks for hidden blood in the stool and is typically done every year.
✅ If your FIT result is positive, you will need a follow-up colonoscopy.
✅ Colonoscopy is another established screening option, completed by a healthcare provider.

People with a family history, symptoms, or other risk factors may need a different screening schedule.
