Service Interruption Update
Last night, we experienced a network outage that affected internet service. The issue originated on one of the major network connections that carries traffic between Amarillo and Dallas. While our network is designed with backup routes to keep traffic flowing during an outage, a routing issue prevented some traffic from automatically switching to the backup path as intended.
Our engineers worked throughout the event to identify the problem, manually reroute traffic, and restore service. We understand how frustrating and disruptive an outage like this can be, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
We know our customers rely on us every day for work, communication, education, and entertainment, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
