U.S. Continental is a privately held contract manufacturer & private label packaging company headquartered in Corona, California. Established in 1989, the company specializes in developing & producing high-quality leather & fabric care products, such as cleaners, protectants, & polishes, for a diverse range of industries including footwear, fashion accessories, furniture, & consumer goods.
We are looking for an exceptional V.P. of Sales to lead their sales team & generate revenue. This is an on-site position based at U.S. Continental's offices in Corona, CA.
The V.P. of Sales will be responsible for, but not limited to:
โข Develop & implement strategic programs to ensure achievement of sales targets such as: increase in market pe*******on, gaining new business, as well as growth and retention of customers.
โข Develop a sales strategy (specific to each market being served) on a quarterly/annual basis to drive sales growth.
โข Lead, motivate, & coach the sales team to meet & exceed sales revenue plans & provide the highest level of customer service.
โข Assist & provide direct reports with career planning, training & growth.
โข Maintain a team-based work environment to promote sales across the business & drive employee & customer retention.
โข Develop timely reports needed to monitor progress of sales team.
โข Maintain & review sales prospect pipeline & sales forecast.
โข Complete sales & negotiate contracts, as needed.
โข Participate in fiscal year business planning.
โข Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with current customers, in conjunction with Account Executives, Account Managers (if applicable), & other designees to improve quality of service & unearth other avenues for opportunity.
โข Keep current with industry standards & knowledge by attending trade shows, seminars & conventions.
โข Collaborate with President & CFO to accurately budget expenses & forecast future revenue, trending & actual sales activity.
โข Prepare & present proposals & presentations as needed.
โข Define new markets & propose strategies to succeed in new markets.
โข Maintain Monthly Sales Forecast & coordinate with Executive team.
Professional Requirements:
โข 10+ years of proven sales experience, selling to Major Brands
Strategic Planning.
โข Experience selling technology products and/or services to medium & large business.
โข Identify sales opportunities in territory through prospecting, sales calls & prospect communications (verbal & written)
โข Ability/willingness to travel throughout the country
โข Formal sales training
