Voting YES today on Virginia’s redistricting referendum. Here’s why — clearly.

Republican-led states redrew their congressional maps mid-decade, at Trump’s direction, to lock in House seats before November. No voter approval. No apology.
Virginia’s YES vote is a direct, temporary response. If it passes:

✅ Virginia redraws our maps to offset what other states did

✅ We could flip enough seats to restore a Democratic House majority — and real oversight of this administration

✅ It automatically expires after 2030, and our bipartisan commission takes back over

Is it a Democratic gerrymander? Yes. Suckily.

But the choice isn’t between this map and a perfect one — it’s between this map and the one that leaves Republicans unchecked.

In normal times, two wrongs don’t make a right. These aren’t normal times.

Vote YES. Today. Polls close at 7pm.

What a lovely evening at the open mic night /mini-Rowunion! After enjoying some comedy, poems, and stories, we went over to a local bar (Mile 21?) and enjoyed some beverages and snacks and of course hilariously honest convos. It was a good reminder of how awesome this group is! For those of you who missed tonight we will do another soon. Note Dec 2nd is the last street open mic night for the year!

It may not be the Treehouse, but The Sandbox Paso Robles is a pretty sweet place to work while I’m in California visiting a bunch of family! I needed a space to take some big calls and get work done and I was psyched to get a day pass for this great spot only minutes away from my SIL’s. (I was taking calls in her garage!)
