30 YEARS AGO TODAY - I founded my firm Diversity Training Group on a houseboat in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, MD.

Committed to helping our clients build healthy, inclusive, productive and effective workplace cultures and environments.

30 YEARS LATER…
-> I have trained, coached more than 1 million participants in my workshops
-> Worked in every state but ND
-> Traveled over 1.5 million miles to over 70
countries (work and personal) - just on United
-> Authored and published a book, e-book, and audiobook (on our website bookstore)

….. from White House (previous admin) to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to Major League Soccer to Native American tribes, HP, Black & Decker to Merrill Lynch, NASA, US Navy to name a few - worked in every sector. I have loved every minute of it.

FIVE!!!!
That makes five podcasts that reached out to me - invited me to be on their shows in the last couple of days. This is fabulous - not sure how this happens, like someone just hit a switch.

Yesterday I presented “Tackling Toxicity through the lenses of Psychological Safety, Trust, and Employee Engagement” as the keynote speaker for PAPPC - Pennsylvania Association on Probation, Parole and Corrections Officers.

Great group - great conversation, I had a ball. Today I just finished being on a podcast and in between I am interviewing Senior Leaders for an upcoming Leadership Workshop I am presenting to a nonprofit industry trade group.

Later this week working for a doctor’s group. Work is pouring in. Like someone hit a switch.

Regularly having “one of those career affirming days.” Two weeks ago I facilitated an executive retreat with a healthcare not-for-profit on Psychological Safety, Trust, and Emotional Intelligence.

Last week I was conducting a team and leader assessment for a federal agency. Will be followed up with coaching and training.

This week working with a for-profit healthcare group re-establishing mission, vision and establishing core values. Fractitional HR support to follow.

Also doing fractional HR and Chief Diversity Officer work regularly, weekly. Designed a new Supervisory, Management curriculum for another client.

Theme throughout all this work is conflict resolution, employee relations and creating better workplace cultures. Love all of this work. I am blessed. We are blessed @ DTG. Want to thank all of our clients and God.

SHRM Chapters asking me to present to them. Last week it was a workshop on “Bullet Proofing your DEI Strategy and Plan.” This week it was “Harassment Prevention and Investigations.”

Coming up “Tackling Toxicity, Psychological Safety & Trust.” All for different SHRM Chapters. Won more consulting work/fractional HR work, assessment work, executive coaching and leadership training.

Our Fractitional HR support services - part-time Chief Diversity Officer also in demand including ombudsman, retention of talent services (stay, exit, and post-exit interviews).
