📊 The results are in—and Voxel51’s 2026 State of Visual & Physical AI survey gives us a lot to unpack.

Perhaps the most eye-opening stat: Of the 700+ visual, spatial, and professionals surveyed, 100% report their physical or models are underperforming. And data is the prime culprit. Other noteworthy insights:

→ 97% struggle to iterate on datasets
→ 86% say visual AI will become more important to them in the next 3 years
→ But only 34% have visual AI projects in production today

As Voxel51 CEO and Co-Founder Brian Moore says, “For the last few years, the conversation has been dominated by models, benchmarks, and compute. But the people actually building production AI systems seem to be telling a different story: The bottleneck is increasingly around data quality and categorization.”

Honestly, this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as findings go. Read the full report at https://bit.ly/4uBzG18

How much of your is trusted? Defensible? Explainable? Auditable? Contestable? Sovereign?

And is the hallucination problem disappearing—or just moving into the workflows enterprises are paying the most to run?

's new field guide digs into the data behind these questions. Because if you're scaling AI in 2026, you need to be able to trace, score, and defend the sources behind every model output. Learn:

▪️Why aggregate benchmarks don’t reflect production workflows
▪️How agentic systems amplify risk and cost
▪️Why enterprises need a new metric: Cost Per Defensible Output

Don’t get caught paying the . Read the field guide on defensible : https://bit.ly/3Q1tj8k

In modern federal environments, collecting data isn’t the challenge—it’s processing data into intelligence at the speed of the mission.

If you work with a traditional, non-consultative reseller, you get a software license passed across the table and a "good luck" on implementation. But a box-checker can't help you operationalize computer vision, secure your supply chain, or scale enterprise .

The means we don't just hand you a tool. We deliver the capability to make split-second, data-driven decisions.

As a technology-focused , we have hand-picked and vetted an elite stack of and AI leaders—like Qlik, , Voxel51, and —because they thrive under the pressure of federal mission requirements.

ORI bridges the gap between complex data and actionable intelligence by:

⏱️Accelerating Adoption: Eliminating the friction between market-leading OEM tech and federal environments
📊Powering Advanced Analytics: Enabling rapid, trusted decision making from the edge to the enterprise
🛡️Ensuring Integrity: Delivering AI compliance and data transparency where the stakes are highest

An order-taker sells you a spreadsheet. A consultative partner delivers intelligence at the speed of the mission.

As CEO Pat Condo sees it, you wouldn’t take a company public without an audit. You wouldn’t release a drug without substantial testing. So why aren’t we setting the same high bar for ?

For high-stakes deployments, the bar is not performance—it’s verifiability.

Condo makes the case for applying equal scrutiny to AI, calling for increased explainability, governance, and verifiability. Retroactive safeguards won’t cut it for edge operations. The highest-risk environments demand stricter AI deployment standards built on an architecture of transparency, traceability, and trusted AI. “The stakes are no longer theoretical ... You cannot patch your way to trust after the fact.”

You wouldn't take a company public without an audit. You wouldn't release a drug without trials. The bar for AI should be the same.

Congratulations to for being named to the 2026 Redpoint Ventures InfraRed 100! The annual ranking honors 100 of the most promising private companies building the core cloud and infrastructure powering the modern application ecosystem.

It’s no surprise, given Chainguard's critical impact on cybersecurity and cloud development:

⛓️Secure-by-default, zero-CVE container images
⛓️AI infrastructure shield powering autonomous agents and applications
⛓️Time-saving remediation and vulnerability patch management

The wait is over. Voxel51 just released the results of the 2026 State of Visual & Physical AI survey—an industry first.

700+ professionals working across visual, spatial, and weighed in, with data challenges and multimodal complexity emerging as key hurdles to moving into the physical world.

The big takeaway: Model failure is a major challenge, with a whopping 100% (as in every single team) reporting underperforming models. 85% say model failures are common. The primary reason? Data.

The top 5 reasons for model failures:

1️⃣ Insufficient training data (57%)
2️⃣ Quality problems (48%)
3️⃣ Domain shifts (43%)
4️⃣ Annotation errors (32%)
5️⃣ Class imbalance (31%)
