Howdy, we are Outdoor Arena Therapeutic Specialist known as OATS offering Eagala Equine Assisted Psychotheraphy(EAP) and Learning (EAL).We offer experiential learning opportunities through equine assisted learning practices in addition to adventure therapy approaches that promote the development of life skills. under the EAGALA Model, we focus on developing behaviors that support classroom success. O.A.T.S also applies the EAGALA Model to building personal growth in professional leadership development, executive coaching and team building. By holding the space for our clients, we help them to live authentically in the moment, rather than focusing on the past. This simple gesture allows for greater change from within and strong outcomes to take away from their experience. What is Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) these activities are done with horses geared toward experiential learning. Equine assisted learning activities are typically offered to groups. No horse experience needed for all of OATS sessions, why!! they are all ground based, utilizing the EAGALA Model. Call and ask about having a unique family reunion or church group experience.

What is equine assisted psychotherapy? Both a licensed therapist and horse professional conduct EAP. According to the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association(EAGALA), EAP is used to treat “behavioral issues, attention deficit disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders, abuse issues, depression, anxiety, relationship problems and communication needs.”
