Sometimes people ask us how we ended up with a shop full of antiques, handmade items, vintage treasures, artwork, gifts, and all the wonderfully random things that fill our shelves.
The truth is, it happened one treasure at a time.
Over the years, we've collected things that made us smile, reminded us of childhood, sparked a memory, or simply felt too special to pass by.
Somewhere along the way, those treasures became a store.
But Hutch's Mercantile is more than what's on the shelves.
It's a place that keeps Ed creating, building, fixing, and doing what he loves. It keeps his hands busy and his mind sharp.
It's a place that keeps Peggy grounded, surrounded by friends, stories, and the community she loves.
