Sheepdog Public Safety

Modern Security. Traditional Values. 🐾 For us, that's more than a tagline. It's how we show up every day:

✅ Arrive early, ready, and squared away.
✅ Treat every person with respect and calm professionalism.
✅ Own the job, with no excuses and nothing hidden.
✅ Keep training long after the license is earned.
✅ Stay local, so when you call, you reach someone who knows your site.

To our officers and supervisors across Western NC: thank you for the early mornings, the long nights, and the steady professionalism you bring to every shift. You're the reason clients trust the name on the patch.

Looking for a security partner who shares those values? Find Sheepdog Protective Services online or send us a message.

Halloween is almost here! 🎃 A few simple habits go a long way toward keeping trick-or-treat night fun and safe:

🔦 Give kids a flashlight or glow stick, and add reflective tape to costumes so drivers can see them.
👀 Make sure masks don't block vision. Face paint is a great alternative.
🚶 Stick to well-lit streets and sidewalks, and cross at corners.
🍬 Check candy at home before anyone digs in.
💡 Homeowners: turn on porch lights and clear walkways of cords, hoses, and decorations that could trip someone.

🚨 Your property doesn’t necessarily need a security officer sitting in one spot all night. Sometimes, it just needs someone showing up when trouble isn’t expecting them.

Sheepdog Public Safety & Security offers randomized property patrols for businesses, shopping centers, HOAs, commercial properties, and other locations throughout our service area.

Our officers can conduct scheduled or randomized checks throughout the day and night, including:

🚓 Parking lots and exterior areas
🚪 Doors, gates, and access points
👀 Suspicious persons or vehicles
🚫 Loitering and trespassing concerns
🗑️ Dumpsters, loading areas, and rear entrances
📝 Documented patrol activity and incidents
📞 Escalation to law enforcement when necessary

The goal is simple: visible presence, unpredictable patrols, and documented accountability.

Property patrols can be a cost-effective alternative when you need more than cameras but don’t necessarily need a dedicated officer on-site for an entire shift.

🐕 Sheepdog Public Safety & Security
Integrity. Transparency. Accountability.

Interested in adding patrol coverage to your property? Send us a message to discuss a patrol plan built around your location and concerns.

Fall in the foothills and the High Country means packed stadiums on Friday nights, festival weekends, and leaf-season crowds. 🍂🏈

A simple tip before your next outing: pick a meet-up spot as soon as you arrive. Choose a landmark that's easy to find, like a specific tent, gate, or light pole, and make sure everyone in your group, especially kids, knows where it is. Snap a quick photo of what your kids are wearing, too. If you get separated or phones die, everyone knows exactly where to go.

Planning a festival, fair, race, or community event this season? Sheepdog works with organizers from the early planning stages to build security that fits the event and keeps guests feeling welcome. Learn more at sheepdogps.com.

🚨 Public Service Announcement 🚨

If you're planning to commit crimes today...
..please don't do them at one of our client sites.

It's awkward for everyone involved.

You have literally thousands of other places to make poor life choices. We respectfully ask that you leave ours off the list.

Our officers would much rather spend their shift drinking coffee, petting the occasional office dog, and writing reports that say, "Nothing unusual to report."

Help us keep it boring.

🚨 The biggest lie in the security industry?

"Nothing ever happens here."

We've heard it hundreds of times.

Until the unlocked door.
Until the theft.
Until the fight.
Until the employee gets threatened.
Until the vehicle gets broken into.
Until someone asks, "Why wasn't this caught sooner?"

The reality is that security isn't measured by how many incidents happen.

It's measured by how many incidents never happen because someone was paying attention.

A good security officer isn't just standing there.

They're noticing things that don't look right.
They're checking doors.
They're watching patterns.
They're identifying problems before they become reports.

The best security work is often invisible because prevention doesn't make headlines.

But it does make a difference.

06/12/2026

Client: "What are we paying security for?"

Security: points at empty parking lot

Client: "There's nobody here."

Security: "Correct."

Client: "Nothing is happening."

Security: "Also correct."

Client: "Everything seems fine."

Security: "You're getting it now."

📢The reality is that the best security operations prevent problems before they become incidents.

It's a little like saying a fire extinguisher is useless because there wasn't a fire.

We'll gladly take another quiet shift.🤫

Because the goal was never to write reports.

The goal was to make sure there was nothing to report.
