The Hicksville Fire Department would like to congratulate Chase Railing, Isaac Wilhelm and Drew Wort on receiving their fire II certification. This class took 3 months, and it went more into detail about managing a scene and different situations you may encounter as a firefighter. We are proud of these guys, and we appreciate their time and effort to better themselves to serve this community.

We extend our sincere gratitude for the exceptional turnout at the firehouse yesterday in support of the Hicksville Volunteer Firemen's Association, which may have been a record. The dedication of our community is truly inspiring. Special thanks are also due to everyone who contributed to organizing this successful event. We are incredibly proud of the commitment our team demonstrates to this community. Thank you all once again for your attendance.

Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Hicksville Rescue Squad. Your talented EMTs and paramedics, both seasoned and new, are invaluable to our community. The closure of Hicksville Hospital has undoubtedly increased the demands on your services, yet you have risen to the occasion, providing exceptional care that surpasses all expectations.

We are profoundly thankful for the many individuals who have dedicated their time to training and joining the EMS program. Your commitment to caring for our village, especially in the absence of a local hospital, is truly commendable.

During this National EMS Week, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for your unwavering dedication and service. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
