"Ala Carte"

A term we probably have heard before.
This is French for "By the Card" or "According to the Menu."

In practice, it means to make individual selections rather than
choosing a complete set or package.

CCB has standard seating styles available, however you can
always use these as a starting point and then select your Ala Carte Options.

For example, we have 2 standard seating styles-
CCB Mooresville & CCB Gastonia that are Bar Height and Customizable.

Did you know we can produce most any seating style at bar height or counter height?

Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse- Job #4365 in Indianapolis, IN.

CCB Gastonia Series - Customized with
• Biscuit Button Tufted Inside Back
• Added Custom Shaped Upholstered Arms

Random Plank Solid Wood Ash Tabletops were also produced for this project.

American Heroes have a special place in our heart at CCB.

Thank you to those who courageously gave their lives and those who still bravely fight to protect our freedoms today.

Our thoughts go out to those that have lost friends and loved ones while serving.

In honor of Memorial Day, CCB's Office and Showroom will be closed Monday, May 25th and will re-open on Tuesday morning.

"It's All About Geometry!"
How many of us wondered if the classes in school would
really be useful one day?

"Geometry" definitely came in handy when producing banquettes for Laurel Park (Congress Ave- Job #5667) in Charlotte, NC.

Two sets of half round banquettes were ganged together once on site with custom wood arm/ end panels (with routed shaped details.) Additionally a shaped wood end panel was attached on top.

Each banquette was produced with wood corner fillers and some additional end fillers to coordinate with the area available.

A custom seating and planter configuration was also produced. This piece was used as a center divider in the space.

Some of the notable design details include:
• Wide upholstery straps created to wrap around the wood frame below the seat
• Large planter design to accommodate screening plants
• A shaped wood end panel (end of the planter) to tie in with the details on the 1/2 round banquettes
• Custom stain

We think this project covered an expanse in geometry-
arcs, using radius and diameters, vertical channel upholstery, routed lines, parallel and perpendicular surfaces, angles, equal spacing, etc.

How is that for testing real world skills?
(It looks like some of us weren't sleeping in class after all!)

"Don't overlook these Wood Booths!"

Let's face it, our upholstered booths probably get more attention.

But the heart of all of our products originate with wood.
So we thought we would feature a project with several
wood seating styles and our solid random plank wood tables.

A project that started named "Twisted Rooster" ended up being the product for "Morning Belle" in Grand Rapids, MI.
