🚒 Being prepared starts long before the call comes in. At High Ridge Fire District, our crews work 48-hour shifts, and every shift begins with detailed truck and equipment checks to ensure everything is ready when seconds matter most. From pumps, lights, and hydraulic units to breathing apparatus and battery-powered rescue tools, every piece of equipment is inspected, tested, and logged for operational readiness.

These daily checks not only help ensure our tools function properly, but also keep our firefighters familiar with every piece of equipment on the truck so they can respond quickly and efficiently in an emergency. Preparation, training, and teamwork help us stay ready to serve our community 24/7. 🔥🛠️

At High Ridge Fire District, we’d like to give a special shoutout to Allison Reed. Allison is the driving force behind so much of the work that happens out of the spotlight—keeping things organized, efficient, and moving forward every day.
Beyond her administrative role, she also serves on our Community Outreach Committee, helping us stay connected and engaged with the community we proudly serve.
