We have have had several people reach out to us about shirt orders and how to pay. You can mail a payment to P.O. Box 99 Highland Home 36041 or message us to make arrangements to meet at the station or if you know a member shirts can be ordered through them. Orders are due September 17th and must be prepaid before shirt can be ordered.

Shirts will be short sleeve Glidan Navy Blue with Pink and White screen print.
Shirt prices:
S-XL $20.00
Larger sizes are an additional $5.00.
Shirt orders must be pre-paid.
All sales are final, no refunds will be issued.

Shirts will be ready to pick up on September 30th from 3-6 pm at the station, unless other arrangements are made.

***Update*** Roadway is back open

‼️Montgomery Hwy at Pouncey Road is down to one lane due to a wreck. The southbound lane is blocked. Please use caution if traveling through this area. We will advise when the roadway is back open.

This morning at approximately 7:23 A.M., our department along with NEC fire department, Fullers Crossroads fire department, Luverne Rescue and the CCSO was dispatched by Crenshaw County E-911 to a structure fire on Brantley Trail. Units arrived on scene to find a single story residential structure well involved in fire. Personnel deployed several attack lines and began operations. The fire was brought under control shortly after arrival. Units remained on scene for several hours extinguishing remaining fire and hot spots. Two firefighters were treated for heat related illness and were released. There were no reports of injuries to any civilians. We want to thank our dedicated members as well as the other departments and agencies for a job well done!

ROAD WORK NOTICE – HIGHLAND HOME

An Alabama Department of Transportation resurfacing project in the Highland Home area is scheduled to begin Monday, July 27, weather permitting.

The project will include resurfacing U.S. Highway 331 from Ronalds Road north to the Montgomery County line, along with traffic striping and pavement preservation work.

The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2026.

Motorists should expect lane closures, reduced speed limits, and possible delays throughout the project. Please plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and use caution around crews and equipment in the work zone.

As we celebrate the 4th of July with family, friends, and fireworks, we encourage everyone to make safety a top priority.

🎆 If you’re using fireworks:
• Follow all manufacturer instructions.
• Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
• Never relight fireworks that fail to ignite.
• Keep a safe distance from homes, vehicles, dry grass, and other flammable materials.

🔥 Grilling today? Make sure your grill is placed away from structures and never leave it unattended.

🚑 If an emergency occurs, don’t hesitate to call 911.

🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE 🚨

We are aware of a report circulating on Facebook regarding a propane leak in the area of First Citizens Bank with the roadway being shut down. At this time, there is NO confirmed propane leak or related emergency and the roadway was never shut down. All units have cleared the area.
