It was a busy end to October. We participated in three Trunk or Treats throughout our communities. This was our second year participating at Ritter Elementary School and the Village of South Rockwood and our first year at the Monroe VFW supporting the Young Marines. after 600 treat bags were filled, the costumes and the people we met made all the hard work worth it. Thank you to all who helped out!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of the Brian "Flash" Bartow. Flash was with us at Sylvania Minerals for 18 years before retiring in May of 2023. Flash will always remain in our hearts and be remembered as one of the greatest loaders. Our prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Marianne, who visited often bringing the best sandwiches and baked goods, and to all his family and friends.
