Textdrip Tip Tuesday: How to Track Your SMS Campaign Results and Know Exactly What to Fix

Sending SMS campaigns without tracking results is just guessing. And guessing is expensive.

Here are the three numbers that tell you exactly what is working and what needs fixing.

Delivery rate. This tells you how many messages actually reached a phone. If it is dropping, your list has gone stale. Remove contacts who have not engaged in 60 to 90 days. A clean list always outperforms a big one.

Reply rate. This is the most honest signal your copy can give you. Low reply rate means your call to action is unclear, asking for too much, or not relevant to where that person is in your funnel. Fix the ask.

Click-through rate. If your link is getting low clicks, it is either buried too deep in the message or the value of tapping it is not clear. Move the link higher and sharpen the sentence before it.

One fix at a time. Test it. Measure again. Improve.
