What is a Sand Oil Interceptor???

A sand-oil interceptor (or separator) is a pretreatment device that removes sand, grit, debris, and free-floating oil/grease from wastewater, typically in car washes, auto shops, and parking garages, preventing these pollutants from entering and clogging the municipal sewer system.
