Exciting News: Meet the New Owner of Baltimore Business Women! ✨

It’s official—I’m passing the torch, and I couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to the woman stepping into the next chapter of Baltimore Business Women… Rachel Carey!

Rachel is not your average photographer—she’s the kind of person who instantly puts you at ease, hypes you up, and leaves you feeling beautiful, empowered, and like you just gained a new best friend.

After a decade-long career with the University of Maryland Medical System, Rachel made the leap into entrepreneurship and never looked back. Over the past 7 years, she’s built a thriving photography business, RCP, specializing in brand, bo***ir, and family photography—and has become one of the most loved and recognized photographers in the region.

She’s taken home the title of Harford County’s Most Loved Photographer year after year, and was named Baltimore Magazine’s Best Photographer in 2023 (and a finalist again for 2024!). She’s also photographed two seasons of New York Fashion Week and plans to return again this year.

Last year, Rachel expanded her empire by launching The Studio Collection in Bel Air—a creative hub offering suites, studio space, and rentals for everything from content creation and photoshoots to classes, podcasts, and beauty services.

But beyond all the accolades, what makes Rachel so perfect to lead this community is her heart. She’s a total girls’ girl who’s passionate about helping women feel confident, seen, and celebrated—not just in front of the camera, but in life and business.

She’s stepping in to grow this community with intention—to create more opportunities for connection, collaboration, and friendship among Baltimore-area women in business.

Big News for Baltimore Business Women! 💫✨

I started this group in summer 2023 to create the kind of supportive, empowering space that once changed my life — and wow, you all showed up. 🙌

From happy hours 🍸 to webinars 💻, coworking ☕ to spa days ✨ — we’ve built something beautiful together. Over 800 of you have joined, collaborated, launched businesses, and made real connections.

Now that I’ve moved to Florida 🌴, it’s time to pass the torch…

I’ve found a new owner for the group, and I’ll be announcing her next week! 🎉

I’ll still be around during the transition (and beyond!) as a moderator, host, and occasional visitor — so this is truly Season 2, not goodbye!

Thank you for building this sisterhood with me. The best is yet to come. 🙏
