We recently completed another box gutter repair, and one thing we’ve noticed is that it can be surprisingly difficult to find contractors who will work on box gutters. Many roofing and gutter companies simply don’t specialize in them.

We wrapped up another roof in Westerville this week, and it reminded me how often homeowners don’t realize there’s a problem until it’s too late.

The homeowner originally thought they just had a couple of loose shingles. After taking a closer look, we found enough storm damage that it made sense to replace the roof before leaks started causing damage inside the home.

The good news is they caught it before it turned into water stains, drywall repairs, or mold.

That’s why I always tell people: you don’t have to think something is wrong to have your roof checked.
