Express Employment Professionals is currently looking for a Supervising Electrician to join a growing local team in Linn County.

Pay: $125,000 - $140,000/Year
Schedule: Monday – Friday w/ 1 weekend/month paid on-call

Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical System Maintenance & Repair
● Plan, layout, install, test, and repair electrical systems, electronic components, and industrial machinery.
● Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make repairs in compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
● Provide technical assistance and training to machine operators and maintenance mechanics.

2. Industrial Wiring & Equipment Installation
● Perform industrial wiring, including hardware installation, circuit testing, and equipment modification.
● Work with a variety of systems, including 480/240/120V and low-voltage AC/DC systems.
● Install and repair electrical equipment according to plant requirements and the National Electrical Code.

3. System Programming & Documentation
● Program and troubleshoot programmable controllers (PLC), GE Ifix Historian, and GE Proficy software.
● Maintain up-to-date documentation for all electrical programs and systems.
● Assist in developing programs for control systems and equipment automation.

4. Safety & Compliance
● Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
● Develop and follow validation, maintenance, and calibration procedures to meet documentation and compliance standards.
● Act as a first responder in emergencies, and participate in safety training, including HAZWOPR and LOTO protocols.

5. Project Coordination & Vendor Communication
● Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on electrical projects, providing cost estimates and overseeing project safety.
● Communicate with vendors for the purchase of repair parts and materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.

Key Qualifications
● Experience: 2-4 years of industrial plant wiring experience, including work with 480/240/120V, three-phase power distribution, motor circuits, and programmable controllers.
● Licensing: Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician or Supervising Electrician license. Candidates relocating will be provided with licensing assistance upon negotiation.
● Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized training in electrical/electronics highly desirable.
● Skills: Proficiency in industrial wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and control system programming. Experience with programmable controllers and compliance with cGMP/FDA regulations is a plus.
● Tools: Must supply personal hand tools.
● Availability: Must be willing to work varied shifts, including nights and rotating schedules, and be on-call for emergency repairs.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
● Contribute to the creation and review of financial and regulatory reports submitted to government bodies and regulatory agencies.
● Assist in generating internal financial statements and management reports for decision-making.

2. Accounting Operations:
● Play a key role in daily accounting tasks and month-end closings, ensuring precise reconciliation of the general ledger.
● Design, implement, and maintain accounting systems that meet GAAP standards, tax regulations, and internal guidelines.

3. Audits and Compliance:
● Coordinate with external auditors and regulators, assisting in audit preparation and regulatory reviews.

Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvement:
● Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting procedures for greater efficiency.
● Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and responsibilities.

2. General Department Support:
● Assist with any additional tasks within the accounting department as required.
● Complete necessary training to stay up to date with regulatory changes and internal procedures.
● Adhere to company policies and take on ad hoc assignments as needed.

3. Collaboration and Team Interaction:
● Regularly communicate with supervisors to receive direction on accounting policies and practices.
● Coordinate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
● Occasionally interact with internal auditors and external agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.

Required Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● At least four years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
● Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
● Prior banking or financial institution industry experience.

2. Technical Skills and Competencies:
● Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and industry regulations.
● Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups, and complex formulas.
● Experience with Word and basic database queries is a plus.
● Proficient in using standard business office equipment and software.
● Stay committed to personal and professional development within the role.

3. Analytical and Communication Skills:
● Ability to interpret financial regulations, write clear reports, and communicate effectively with team members.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex mathematical tasks, such as accruals, percentages, and ratios.
● Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment and effectively collaborate with colleagues.

4. Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
● Regularly required to sit for extended periods, use hands to manage tasks, and communicate effectively.
● Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
● Vision capabilities include the ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
● Office environment with moderate noise levels; occasional exposure to electrical equipment.
