Another One Funded | SBA Refinance + Working Capital

This was a more complex deal, but a great example of what the right banking relationship and structure can accomplish.

The client is an established coffee distributor that already had two SBA term loans plus a $250,000 SBA line of credit. Those facilities had been in place for roughly 2–3 years, and the client was looking to refinance the existing debt, lower the monthly obligation, and free up additional working capital.

The original bank wasn't able to move forward with the refinance due to collateral and existing balance requirements.

That's where we stepped in.

Through one of our banking relationships, we were able to restructure the debt into a new $2.3MM term loan, paying off the two existing term loans and the line of credit.

After the refinance and fees, the client was able to net approximately $150,000 in additional working capital.

And we're not done — we're also working on securing an additional $500,000 line of credit.

The new capital will help the company continue growing its coffee distribution business, purchase additional inventory and imported materials, and take advantage of new contracts with larger stores and franchise opportunities.

This is what financing should do: not just provide capital, but improve the structure of the business and position it for the next stage of growth.
