New for 2012 new jersey has further resrticted the green industry by requiring that all landscape and lawn care organizations willneed a license to apply fertilizer. This is intended to reduce pollution and improve water quality. As homeowners this will only work and improve you water quality if it is followed. You should ensure that your contractors are properly licensed and insured. If all contractors are educated and knowledgeable then some of the issues with non proffesional organizations will disapapear. Of course when choosing a contractor price should not be the only factor.
