Have you registered for the Hingham 4th of July Road Race? 👟🇺🇸We’re less than a month away from the 67th Annual Road Race, one of our favorite annual traditions. The 4.47 mile course takes you down historic Main Street and ends under a huge America flag with enthusiastic crowds cheering you on along the way. Take part in this wonderful tradition and get your Fourth of July celebrations started off on the right foot!

After the race, stick around for the at 10AM and enjoy the charm of our downtown.

Congrats to on their 15th Anniversary! 🎂 They have lots to celebrate including a new location on South Street, just around the corner from their previous Main St. store. Swipe to take a look at their new set-up ➡️

Since 2011 RSVP has offered cards, gift wrap & everything you need for celebrations. They also offer custom stationery design for weddings & events. They work with couples to create the wedding of their dreams through bespoke save the dates, wedding invitations, es**rt cards, ceremony programs, and other wedding day specialty touches.

This is their first full week at 28 South Street so pop-in to check it out & wish them happy anniversary!

Get to know Laura Towle, our Executive Director! 🧡 Laura is a local Hingham resident and mom of four who stepped into this role with a genuine love for the community and a clear vision for its future.

With deep roots in Hingham, Laura brings both personal connection and fresh perspective to the Hingham Downtown Association.

She says, “I have many fond memories from growing up in Hingham to now raising my family here. Walking downtown with friends, Christmas in the Square, shopping and dining - Downtown Hingham is such a gem. I am very excited to have the opportunity to support the businesses and help grow the events that make Hingham such a special place.”

As Executive Director, Laura is focused on strengthening the connection between businesses and the community. From local events to new in-store finds, her goal is to make sure there’s more visibility around everything happening downtown - so nothing gets missed and everyone feels part of it.

For Laura, Hingham has always been more than just a place to live. It’s where community, walkability, great schools, and everyday moments - like grabbing ice cream or heading to the park - come together to create an exceptional quality of life.
