EME Rail Solutions is a railroad consulting service created by William Emery Moore. William has an extensive background in railroad operations and he began his career working as a intern for Central Intermodal Incorporated in 2001. During his next two years as intern, William learned about all facets of intermodal operations and shortly after graduating from Saint Joseph's College with a Business
Management Degree, William accepted a position as Operations Manager at the Union Pacific Railroad's IMX Terminal in Chicago, Illinois. After working as a operations manager for about eight months, William accepted a job position as a brakeman with the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway. After becoming a qualified brakeman, William accepted another job offer within the E.J. and E. Railway as a train dispatcher. Less than a year after becoming a train dispatcher, William was trained and promoted to Assistant Chief Train Dispatcher. For the next five years, William worked as a train dispatcher and Assistant Chief Train Dispatcher. During this time William also began working on his Masters of Business Administration and graduated in May of 2009 from Purdue University Calumet. Since February of 2009, after the Canadian National Railroad acquired the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway, William has been a rail traffic controller (RTC) for the CN Railway's Desk 11 which consists of the former Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway territory.
