That was me 18 years ago(I’m directly under the E). I don’t usually take to insta with political diatribes or dramatic personal experiences. But I cannot sit by in silence. The 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund will expire 12/18/20. This fund helps first responders and their families with much needed funding for medicine, lost wages, death benefits and much more. I get especially incensed when Republicans like Mark Meadows (R) North Carolina says this is a “New York” problem. He has no problems passing legislation to support big business, a corrupt President and enrich himself yet my colleagues and I are supposed to fend for ourselves. They like to use the phrase”never forget”Apparently thats bu****it. As of today over 5400 people have been diagnosed with 9/11 related diseases and the number grows everyday. Please reach out to your members of Congress and tell them to support making the VCF permanent www.whosmyrepresentative.com
