✨Hey Friends! Your time in Hochatown wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Beavers Bend State Park🍃 It’s truly a JEWEL and I highly recommend…

✨You’ll want to pay close attention to these RED signs & scan the QR code (or text) to pay for your parking while you’re there… it’s super easy and very reasonable - just don’t forget to do this, or you might end up with a parking fine (ask me how I know 😉).

PRO-TIP: If you’ll be visiting the park over a span of several days to hike, swim at the lake, or explore… you can also purchase for a multi day parking pass 🙌🏻

Say hello to HOMEMADE goodness! 🤗On my drive up to Hochatown, I stopped by a charming new spot in Downtown Broken Bow called The Shoppes 🩷 Filled with so many beautiful items including unique gifts, boutique style clothing, jewelry, and more! Best of all—- they stock fresh baked goods, the most decadent pimento cheese spread, and perfect size snack boards for your cabin happy hour 🍷🧀

So grateful for the warm hospitality on my first of MANY future visits! ✨

No kidding, this one ranks as one of our personal favorites in Hochatown!

Grab your honey, your gaggle, or just take yourself - their craft brewed beer is something special y’all! And for the non beer drinkers, they also offer a great selection of wine 🍷

Order a gourmet hotdog from “The Weinery” — so many to choose from so try several! Check the pics for the hotdog menu,

Access is easy - You’ll see their wooden staircase from the road (259)… but there’s parking up the hill around the back- unless you really wanna make that hike!

Beavers Bend State Park offers multiple hiking trails for you to explore 🥾The Beaver Creek Trail is one of the easier trails and can be navigated by hikers of all ages! We’ve hiked it during every season with little kiddos, teens, adults and grandparents too💚

The trail is accessed at Beavers Bend State Park, just behind the Park Headquarters building which also includes the Forest Heritage Center (can’t wait to share more on this special spot in another post coming soon!)

✨I highly recommend stopping at the Park office to pick up a trail map before you begin. Also, be sure to scan the QR code on the red parking lot signs and pay for parking before you head out on the trail ✅

An 18 hole golf course in Hochatown?⛳️FORE-sure!

✨Play a round (or two) at this beautiful course on the shores of Broken Bow Lake. A public course with sweeping lake views and scenic pines, Cedar Creek Golf Course should be on your list!

✨Par 72, with a pro shop, cart and club rentals. Hours do vary by season & tee times are required, so make sure to call ahead to plan your visit.

☀️Rise-&-Shine, it’s Breakfast time!☀️We just devoured these yummy breakfast tacos from Hocha-rrito's Breakfast Burritos by the Lake ! Just a quick drive from the cabin, we get ours “to-go”… and enjoy them on the back deck!

With the cutest food truck/trailer, they’re centrally located across the street from Steven’s Gap Road!

It’s not just you… at some point, everyone wonders how to pronounce HOCHATOWN…🤔 I think this sign at Bruton’s Outdoors explains it perfectly!

💚In the heart of Hochatown, this store has so much goodness inside… fishing gear, a massive selection of Yeti products, jewelry, t-shirts, caps, Sasquatch gear and LOTS MORE! You can even use their kiosk to buy and print a fishing liscense if ya need one 🎣
