Moontree Studio focuses on putting the artist in a comfortable environment that is conductive to creativity and collaboration. Bill Mele (Owner, Producer, and Engineer) quickly began focusing his efforts on making his dream come true after graduating from Full Sail University with a Bachelors of Science in Recording Arts.

Judges will be looking for three criteria.
1. Best original song
2. Best cover song
3. Technical ability/creativity

Winner of this event will receive a free Sound Portal recording at with video coverage. 2nd and 3rd place winners receive bookings to play at Dew Point in the future.
