MISSION STATEMENT: Saving the environment and your bank roll nickel by nickel. We will start picking up all your NYS deposit aluminum cans, plastic and glass bottles from your front door. Starting July 11th we will start service in the Holbrook area and will move to surrounding areas in the near future.
SUMMARY OF STATISTICS (this will make you ill)
S The overall Statewide redemption rate for all beverage containers was about 66.8 percent, which was a decrease of 1 percent from the previous year.
S The redemption rate for beer containers was 75.2 percent, a decrease of 1.3 percent from the previous year.
S The redemption rate for soda containers (which includes carbonated water and other carbonated drinks) was 56.8 percent, a decrease of 1.9 percent from last year.
S Northern and central New York State demonstrated the highest overall redemption rates.
S There was an estimated $103.4 million worth of unredeemed deposits, an increase of $10.2 million from the previous year.
