Long day goofing off scraping glue and sniffing very strong commercial solvents. Humor set aside.. I understood I placed my safety aside at many moments today to expedite the process as I am uneducated with the procedures to remove flooring adhesives. Please use caution with strong chemicals.

12 hour - 33.7” snow accumulation

Well that storm was wicked intense. I ran my truck a good 12 hours pushing some thick mounds of snow. It had a thick slick packing of compacted impenetrable snow underneath. It was described by the news as “concrete snow”. Gaining momentum on that slicked ground to push 3 feet required “ramming” momentum with my 5600lb truck.

The snow stuck to every exposed ground and vertical surface. Parked vehicles were painted white blending them with their created snowdrifts. Gaining more working visibility meant rolling windows down and enduring gusts of snow that blew my hat off while inside my truck. Every move required some sort thinking, a rhythm, and bracing for a three foot forward impact without getting stuck.

An unforeseen mechanical failure occurred, a rusted $.50 line-nut broke free from the brass union. I limped it back home in 4x low gear, defeated, broken, and utilizing many shoulder snow banks to slow down and stop.

I did not abandon, I went down with my ship. I tried repairing the leak, but the sun dissapeared and the cold darkness took over. Godspeed…
