We do not work on shoes, jackets, or furniture – our experience is specialized in creating and restoring handbags and consu
lting the world’s premier luxury designers. Leather Surgeons is solely dedicated to the world’s most expensive handbags so you can rest assured your prized handbag will never be side-by-side with shoes being shined. Over the years, we have created a proprietary, one-of-a-kind refinishing system for our spa services. Unlike other repair facilities, we never use spray paint and only use brushes for fine, detailed work requiring a master’s touch. We make sure to clean, pH balance, and rehydrate every handbag that comes through our doors. In addition to design and consultation, we offer a mail-in service so that your handbags may be sent directly to be worked on by Gerry Gallagher, the master craftsman himself. With the reputation we have earned throughout decades of experience, you can be assured that you are in good hands at Leather Surgeons. Our operation is designed to offer the very highest level of quality and customer service possible. To do this, every restoration is done by Gerry and his two sons; there is never a handbag done by staff. We have only a few assistants to aid in prep, communication, and shipping/handling.
