It broke so I printed a new one

This range hood vent cover had tiny hooks to latch onto the vent that broke off. I prefer the hood to exhaust the steam/smoke outside, not back inside the house so this needs to be covered up.

Lets design and print a new one. Out of PETG to resist the hotter temperatures. A couple of adjustments and reprints. Fits like a glove serves its purpose perfectly.

This took way too long


So many failed prints, sizing issues, reprints, and sanding about a month ago. I dreaded assembling this thing. Well, its finally finished!

Overall, its an awesome looking model with some great features but some obvious assembly flaws that needs the whole model reworked
