Our customers were eager to see how the XRGI® 25 compact cogeneration plant turns propane into both heat and electricity, helping businesses save money by producing power on-site. 🎉 Exciting Team News at Bergquist! 🎉

We are thrilled to welcome Darin Wilmes to our Outside Sales team as our new Area Sales Manager, serving customers throughout Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin!

Darin brings over 20 years of sales experience, including more than 15 years in the propane and energy industry. Starting his career with an HVAC degree, he combines a deep technical foundation with a genuinely customer-focused approach.

His extensive background spans hands-on propane delivery and equipment installations to strategic territory development and energy management—most recently serving seven years as a Territory Manager in the transportation sector.

A lifelong Mankato, MN resident, Darin is known for his strong work ethic, practical approach, and commitment to building lasting relationships. Outside of work, you’ll find him fishing, catching sporting events, or enjoying the outdoors with his two sons. 🎣⚽

We’ve had a busy month on the road, and we're not slowing down!

Last weekend, Scott Biggs, Amy Berg, Jake Evans, and Trebby Catron traveled to Irving, Texas to attend the Red River Crossroads Propane Conference and Expo. It was fantastic connecting with industry leaders and discussing the future of propane operations.

From expert-led education to exploring Put-In-Bay, the Bergquist team had an incredible time at the Great Lakes Propane Convention in Sandusky, Ohio! 🎡

Brought together by the Michigan , Indiana, and Ohio propane associations, this event was a fantastic blend of industry collaboration and technical learning. We were especially proud to have our own team members step up as featured speakers:

💡 Joe Montroy led an insightful seminar on Reinforced Thermoplastic (RTP), sharing key technical strategies and application best practices.
🔧 Gary Bozigar delivered a hugely beneficial educational session tackling "Common Dispenser Pumping Issues" to help operators keep equipment running smoothly.

A special shoutout to Gary for coordinating a great team outing to Put-In-Bay—because building strong industry relationships is always better when you’re having a little fun! 🚤☀️

A massive thank you to the organizers from the Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio propane gas associations, as well as all the partners and attendees who made this event such a success. See you all next time!

It has been a busy, high-energy couple of weeks for the Bergquist team! From Colorado to Kentucky, our team has been on the move—learning, collaborating, and deepening our industry expertise. 💼✨

Here is a quick look at where we've been:

🌍 North American Distributor Summit (Estes Park, CO) Trebby Catron and Jake Barry represented Bergquist in beautiful Colorado for the summit hosted by OPW Propane Energy Solutions. It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with industry peers and align on the forward-looking strategies and technical advancements driving our sector.

🤝 KPGA Summer Convention (Covington, KY) Matt Kitchens and Gary Madison had a productive week connecting with industry friends and partners at the KPGA Summer Convention. Participating in key board meetings and national panels provided excellent insights into upcoming industry trends and strategies for the future of propane.

🎓 Bergquist Academy: Corken C-Model Pump School (Bowling Green, KY) We were thrilled to welcome a full house of industry professionals to our Bowling Green training facility this week! A huge thank you to instructor John Stewart (Sales Manager & Pump Application Engineer at Corken) for delivering an exceptional, hands-on masterclass. Our attendees walked away with invaluable, practical insights into pump theory, correct installation, and advanced troubleshooting.
