Opening day for the Waukazoo Market is May 4, 2024 from 8-2. Marissa Garbarion will be joining the market this season with her fabulous bread selection. For the month of May we will be open Saturdays only. Adding week days in June.

On this Oscar Sunday and our minds on Movies. Glass Art Design has a connection to a movie that won a few People’s Choice Awards. “Runaway Bride” staring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere filmed in Berlin MD. Julia ( Maggie) ran the Hardware store. That exact store that was used in the filming is now a Gallery. Seachelle Designs. This Gallery just place an order with Glass Art Design at the Philadelphia show this passed January. I visited Berlin, MD in 2014 then the Hardware store was an antique store. If you find yourself near Berlin, MD stop by this adorable town. Still preserved as small town America.

Second day at the 2020 American Handcrafted show in Philadelphia. New Night light designs are selling very well. Many new accounts and lots of current customers. Always fun to be a part of this very talented group of artists.

Wow I am not sure of the words to describe Matlacha Island Florida and Leoma Lovegrove Gallery. Fantastic just isn’t enough. What an honor I feel that Leoma has chosen my night lights to be in her gallery. There is nothing but happiness to be felt while walking through her gallery and gardens. A must add to your bucket list!! I even got to pet Fred the cat who makes an appearance in many of Leoma’s Art work.

We have returned home from the American Handcrafted Wholesale Show in Philadelphia. I added 5 new designs this year and they were very well received. Hard to believe my first Wholesale show was in 2005. We saw many current customers and added some new ones. Now to get really busy in the studio.
