💙💛🐯 This is what COMMUNITY looks like! 🐯💛💙

The CWL Tiger Walk is happening right now at Tiger Stadium, and my heart is so full knowing that Yard Love by shelly.designs4u was still able to be a little part of this special school event! ❤️

With my broken ankle keeping me off my feet, I wasn't sure how I was going to make everything happen. But thanks to the incredible help, kindness, and support of the CWL PTO, I was able to create several yard sign displays and get them to the stadium for today's celebration! 🥹
👟🐯

Pictured are two of the brand-new signs that were specially ordered for this event! They're part of the yard sign displays created to bring a little extra Tiger spirit and excitement to today's festivities! 💙💛

And THAT is what community is all about. 💕

It's people coming together, lending a hand, finding solutions, and making things happen even when circumstances aren't ideal. Sometimes it takes a little extra teamwork, a lot of determination, and some wonderful people willing to help!

I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. Being sidelined with this injury has been difficult, especially when creating these displays and bringing smiles to others is something I love so much. So being able to still contribute today means more to me than you know.

When a community comes together, amazing things happen! 💙💛

Wishing all the CWL students, teachers, families, and PTO volunteers an absolutely wonderful Tiger Walk! Have the BEST time, Tigers! 🐯👟

❤️ A little update from me and Yard Love…

This is a post I really didn’t want to have to write.
After my orthopedic appointment today, I had to face the reality that my broken ankle is a much more significant injury than I had hoped. I went into today praying I would hear that I was making enough progress to start getting back on my feet soon. Instead, I was reminded that this is going to take time, patience, and a lot more healing.

And if you know me, you know that sitting still and being patient are definitely not my strong suits. 🥹

So, with a very heavy heart, I’ve made the decision that Yard Love will not be accepting any new yard sign bookings for at least the next 3–6 months.

I do have a few previously scheduled greetings on my calendar that I’m hoping to honor with some extra helping hands, depending on the circumstances and what I’m physically able to safely do. If you already have something scheduled with me, I will be communicating with you personally about your greeting.

But for now, I simply cannot take on anything new until I know I am safely and fully back on my feet.

And this makes me incredibly sad.

Yard Love has never just been putting signs in someone’s yard to me. Every birthday, graduation, welcome home, celebration and surprise represents a moment in someone’s life that they trusted me to help make a little more special. ❤️

I love loading up my signs, creating something from nothing, pulling into a yard and imagining someone’s face when they see it for the first time. I love being a tiny part of memories that families will hopefully talk about for years.

Having that suddenly taken away because of one bad fall has been much harder emotionally than I expected.

But I also know that if I rush this because I’m stubborn and determined to get back out there, I could jeopardize my recovery and keep myself away even longer. So as difficult as it is, I need to listen to my doctor, give my body the time it needs, and make getting safely back on my feet my priority.

This isn’t goodbye to Yard Love. ❤️ It’s just a pause.

To every person who has booked with me, recommended me, shared my posts, trusted me with your celebrations or simply cheered on this little business of mine — thank you. You have no idea how much your support has meant to me.

I’m sad. I’m disappointed. And I’m definitely going to miss delivering those smiles.

But Yard Love will be back. ❤️

And when these two feet are finally ready to carry signs through yards again, I have a feeling that first setup back is going to mean more to me than ever.

For now… I heal. ❤️‍🩹

Okay, AI got this one a little TOO spot on. 😂💕 Apparently my personality in mascot form is a fluffy Highland cow named Posi wearing pink heart sunglasses, carrying Dunkin’, and spreading good vibes everywhere she goes. I mean… where is the lie?! 😂🐮💗☕️

I uploaded a photo of myself and asked AI to use what it knows about me to invent a mascot that represents my personality. I didn’t tell it what animal to choose, what to name it, or what accessories to give it—I told it to decide everything.

And THIS is what it came up with. 😂 The pink, the coffee, the little bow, the “Posi” name, and “Good Vibes. Bright Days.” Seriously… it knows me. 💕✨

If you want to see what AI thinks your personality mascot should be, I’m putting the exact prompt I used in the comments so you can try it yourself! I definitely want to see what everyone gets. 😂❤️

💛✨ 80 Years Loved! ✨💛

What a beautiful milestone and an even sweeter surprise! Yesterday I had the honor of setting up this special 80th birthday greeting for a very loved Nan, planned by her family to welcome her home to a surprise birthday party! 🎉🥰

I can only imagine her face as she pulled in and realized her family had been busy making sure her 80th birthday was one she would always remember. 💕 Eighty years of memories, laughter, family, love, and a life that has clearly touched so many hearts—that is absolutely worth celebrating BIG!

Happy 80th Birthday, Nan! 🥳💐 Here’s to being surrounded by the people who love you most and making even more beautiful memories together.

Thank you to her family for trusting Yard Love by shelly.designs4u to add a little extra sparkle to such a meaningful surprise. It was truly a joy to be a small part of it! 💛✨

👻💕 Boo! Vivi is TWO! 💕👻

I absolutely loved bringing a little extra birthday magic to sweet Vivianna’s 2nd Boo-Day! 🎃✨ Her adorable pink Halloween theme called for something fun, sweet, and just a little spooky—and I had so much fun creating a special birthday yard greeting just for her!

There’s something extra magical about seeing a birthday surprise all lit up at night, especially with those amazing Halloween lights on the house! 🩷👻🎂

Happy 2nd Birthday, Vivi! I hope your day was filled with lots of giggles, treats, hugs, and all the sweet little memories that make turning TWO so special. 💕✨

Thank you so much for allowing Yard Love by shelly.designs4u to be a little part of Vivi’s Boo-Day celebration! 🎃👻🩷

A little unexpected update from me tonight… ❤️

Life has a funny way of reminding us that sometimes we have no choice but to slow down. Unfortunately, I took a pretty hard fall today and ended up breaking my ankle. I’m currently unable to put any weight on it and will be seeing orthopedics to find out what the next few weeks will look like.

For the time being, I won’t be able to accept any new Yard Love bookings this week until I know more and receive further instructions from the doctor.

Anyone who knows me knows that sitting still is definitely not one of my strengths. 😂 I’m usually happiest when I’m busy, creating something, making someone smile, or running from one thing to the next. Having to suddenly stop is going to be an adjustment for me, but I know right now I need to listen to my body, give myself some grace, and let it heal.

To everyone who already has something scheduled with me, I’ll be reaching out personally. I’m truly sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this unexpected situation may cause. Please know that I would be there if I possibly could. ❤️

More than anything, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting my little business, trusting me with your special moments, and always showing me so much kindness. I never take any of it for granted.

This certainly isn’t the little detour I had planned, but hopefully it’s only a temporary one. For now, I’ll be taking things one day at a time, learning how to use these crutches 😂, and looking forward to the day I can get back to doing what I love.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for understanding. ❤️ I’ll be back to delivering smiles as soon as these two feet—or at least one very stubborn ankle—allow me. 💕

Last nights special yard sign setup happened under the **COOLEST house lighting!** 😍✨ Seriously… how amazing are these lights?! They made the perfect backdrop and gave last nights setup a little extra magic. 💕✨

And the sign? You’ll have to wait just a little longer to see that! 😉🎉

**Stay tuned for the full reveal!** 👀💗

The last of my back-to-school yard signs went up on Tuesday, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to wrap up this season! 💛📚✨

This colorful Welcome Back greeting found its home on the absolutely gorgeous campus of Grier School. 🦋 There was just something so special about seeing all of those bright colors against such a beautiful backdrop!

I’m incredibly grateful to every school and family who allowed me to add a little extra happiness to the start of a brand-new year. ❤️
