Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a powerful reminder of the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Texas—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Juneteenth is a day to reflect, learn, and celebrate African American history, culture, and resilience. We proudly stand in support of freedom and equality for all.
