He entered the field of electronics directly after high school in a small security company in Houston, Texas. Here he specialized in security systems and CCTV including integration with retail point of sale systems. He continued to pursued his interest in low voltage systems as he attended college at ITT Technical Institute. He took a position of project manager in a larger security company where

he installed complex security systems in skyscrapers in Houston Texas. His most successful accomplishment included the integration of intercom, video, and access control systems for the electric giant, Dynegy Energy.

After moving back to his home town in Pennsylvania, he continued his career with local security companies. During this time, he obtained various certifications. In 2005, he took a position in a global life safety and security company where he specialized in the installation and service of fire alarms. He obtained his Nicet Fire Alarm Systems II certification.

After nearly 20 years in the industry, Eli saw a disconnect between the customers and the companies he worked for. He knew he could do it better and provide customers great systems without the enormous price tag. Eli’s vision was to bring superior and advanced technology to all companies, both big and small, for a reasonable fee. This vision resulted in the creation of DirecTec LLC.
