Gartner analyst Milind Govekar believes that application development is moving to “low code or no code,” and software development shifting to “assembly and integration.”

Speaking at the Gartner IT Symposium, Govekar said that cloud disruption is still under way and, according to his analysts, organisations are 17 times more likely to increase cloud spend than to reduce it in the next year. By 2025, he argued, cloud spending will exceed non-cloud spending in IT (today it is around one third, he said) and half of enterprise workloads will be deployed on a hyperscale provider, whether that is in public cloud, on-premises or at the edge.

Custom CSS: the magical method to modify the design of your embedded tools.

When you need to change the size of the sheet title, the font of field headers, or the color of certain aspects of your embedded Ragic sheets, you can use the Custom CSS tool to modify the design.

Ragic’s Custom CSS tool is basically the stylesheet of your database embedding tools. So if you have some knowledge of CSS codes, here’s the tool for you to easily modify each sheet’s embedded displays!

New conditional formatting rule available!

In conditional formatting, you can now apply the “not equal” rule for number fields! For example, you can display the VAT field if the tax rate of a specific product or order does not equal 0!

Other than managing textual data on entries and sheets, your Ragic database can also act as a cloud file storage with better organization features!

All you have to do is to create file upload or image upload fields on your Ragic sheet, and users can then upload office documents, images, video files, and more file types there! But since Ragic is still a database design tool and keeps your data in sheets, unlike the popular cloud storage apps, these files will store be organized in entries, which allows you to add related details of the document on the field, easily apply custom access rights settings (so confidential files won’t be accessed by unwanted personnel), quickly find files by searching or filtering.

In addition, Ragic also has a File Manager that allows SYSAdmins to manage all files within the database at once! The SYSAdmins can use this tool to check which files are stored in which sheets and entries, and edit the related data if needed!
