My client Dr. Erica Jordan-Thomas and her team had an idea. Me, the event strategist, had the vision. My event designer Creative Innovations had the expertise.

Client wanted a homecoming theme with book signing incorporated in the theme. I drew on paper (yes, pencil and paper, not fancy canvas because my event designer can see my vision and will do a 3D CAD drawing), shared with my event designer.

And here’s what started as an idea, to pencil and paper, to in real life.

No small feat, but if you work with people you can trust, and that STARTS with the client, to the people who brings your vision to life, my job as an event strategist and planner becomes much easier.

Not to mention, having to flip a ballroom set with classroom seatings for over 400 to banquet rounds with custom dance floor and decor installation in 3hrs, that’s something to say about that. #ɪʏᴋʏᴋ

Entrepreneurship is NOT for the weak. BUT, if you put in the HEART and the work, CONSISTENTLY, you will be handsomely rewarded in ALL ASPECTS.
