The Hour of Devastation is upon us... Having had a week now to watch the market and the meta, I'm calling the early reviews I read of this set just dead wrong. I saw many people saying that the money is just not there in this set, and I even saw a few people grumbling about the card choices. Not every set can have a Jace! After cracking a booster box, I ended with $125+ in rares and mythics alone. So the money value was definitely there, and that's not even with an invocation. All in all I think this set has a lot potential for playability and collectability.

Don't forget to entertain the idea of investing in the companies that make your favorite collectibles. No one knows better than the customer base, how the company is doing. With many of these companies we're already aware of the individual values of most of their products. With our own collector knowledge we can see when they're hitting a home run or a foul ball. Also, most of these companies are very steady, and with the introduction of the "It" toy for the year, you can easily see the stock of any given company climb.

The collector's edition of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is just too amazing. The collectible statues are just gorgeous, but... The boxed set of Infinity Stones with Light FX... It's just too much to pass up. I highly recommend this item. The statues and Infinity Stones are sure to be sought after items on the secondary market. Plus you get an awesome video game too!

Very stoked about the Spring Convention Exclusive World War II Captain America. Available at the Con and through Hot Topic. It's already sold out on Hot Topic's website so make sure to check your local store.

The best thing about this Pop for me is that it's the first officially licensed Captain America: First Avenger Pop. As a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'm slightly frustrated by the disjointedness of Funko's MCU Phase One releases. They released Pops for Thor, but the Red Skull and Captain America they released around the time of the movie were licensed as Marvel Universe. So seeing a Pop officially tied to First Avenger really excites me. I'm hopeful we'll see more Pops tied to earlier MCU titles. This one is an instant classic and will certainly retain value.
