The PATH Act is lifted! 🎉

Where’s My Refund should fully update tomorrow. Many of you will receive a deposit date of 2/22. 💸 If you’re able to access your transcript, you will most likely already have your deposit date.

Some will unfortunately get identify verification notices but don’t panic. You will need to wait on your letter to complete your verification. If you’re my client, I’ll walk you through the process.

I do not check for deposit dates but I will gladly take a look at your transcript if Where’s my Refund hasn’t updated. If you used my portal, copies of your return are uploaded so you’ll have everything you need to check your status. If you need assistance, I’m always here to help. ☺️

❗️Tax Tip❗️

🗣️Attention students and parents! 🎓✨ that time of the year is coming up when colleges and universities issue the 1098-T forms. This form is a crucial tool in helping you save on your taxes. If you're a student or a parent of a student, this form reports the tuition and other qualified expenses you paid during the tax year.

By utilizing the information on your 1098-T, you might be eligible for valuable education-related tax credits or deductions such as the American Opportunities Tax Credit. This credit can add $1000+ to your tax return.

If you have a dependent student, do not file your taxes until you receive this form! You’ll miss out on a valuable refundable tax credit.

🚨🚨 Stimulus Update 🚨🚨

Please READ‼️‼️ I will not answer each individual question about stimulus payments.

The IRS has started issuing payments to some affected customers by direct deposit as of yesterday, January 26th. The IRS will continue to release funds to affected customers in batches through February 5th.

The exact timing of when the funds will be visible and available in their deposit account depends on which batch the IRS releases their payment in, and their bank’s deposit posting rules and timeline. This could mean customers may see funds as early as January 26th or, as late as, or even after, the last batch on February 5th.

If a customer did not have their tax refund deposited into a permanent bank account or the IRS has determined that their account is no longer active, then they should receive a check directly from the IRS in the U.S. mail. Checks are scheduled to be mailed February 2nd through February 5th, so advise customers to please allow several days for mail delivery and watch the mail.

Also I am still only providing virtual services at this time. You can contact me via inbox, call or text at (318) 478-1727.
