Hey y’all! Check out before and after photos for these sweet clients. Here’s their story:
These sweet clients that I absolutely adore, decided years ago it was time to move home to be with her mother for her last year.
In doing so, these clients combined their house full of belongings into the fully furnished family home where the entire extended family gathered regularly as well as for holidays.
Their focus was care for her mother and not worry about what stayed and what needed to go.
That being said, there was an over abundance of items meshed together. Both clients work full time, have families and daily routines that took the time needed for this project.
I came in and explained that Inwasnt there to give them a show room home, but I was there to give items a home and a functional system that can be adhered to during the daily chaos of their schedules.
We talked about items that are “married” and needed to live together. (You’ll hear me say that in your home too)
When I first came here for a consult, my client couldn’t even be in this room for 30-45 seconds without having to walk out and take a breath so she could calm her anxiety. Today, she spent a lot of time in there letting me explain where things were and why they were there.
I love these project. And you all say the same thing, “when you see where I need help, you’re going to tell me to forget it and never come back.”
I can assure you, I don’t and I won’t.
P.S. My client and her mother had tea together in the evenings and it is a tradition she and her spouse have continued so I wanted to give her a Tea Bar to remember her mother when she and her spouse have tea together in the evenings.
