We've had ourselves a busy winter.

This "off season" we completed several additional excavations, deck footer installations, property clearings, plenty of snow removal, and more!

We wrapped this project up last month right here in Honey Brook. These homeowners began saving to level off their heavily sloped backyard years ago when they initially bought the house, hoping to make a suitable area for their kids to play.

The yard was raised about 5' at the deepest to match the level of the patio, leaving a slight pitch to allow for water to run. We imported about 1,500 cubic yards of fill dirt, raised and compacted the dirt in lifts, and then fine graded some of the existing and additional topsoil to grade. We also rerouted the down-liters to the wood line, which were originally pouring out next to the patio. We finished off the yard with preparation, grass seed, curlex matting on the slopes, and mulched straw. All told the yard now has about 10,000 square feet of level area.

One of the best parts of our line of work is seeing the excitement of our clients when their project is finished. We were thrilled to help these homeowners finally see their dream yard come to reality. Thank you for entrusting us to complete your long anticipated project!

We're excited to share this progression post from the fire damaged building we demolished and rebuilt in Honey Brook. We completed this start to finish project in May by putting the finishing touches on the lot, including pave, paved walkways, and mulched beds.

This project offered some unique challenges, such as uncovering and filling an old well, uncovering and tying into a (Very) old sewer main, and dealing with tight spaces between the neighboring buildings. Ultimately, we completed all of these tasks and kept the project both on time and on budget.

This is another example of a project where we completed all the outdoor activities, including demolition, excavation, underground, grading, landscape, and pave. Ultimately, both us and the building owner were thrilled with the final product.

We'd also like to thank our friends at Red Wagon Hauling, Inc. for helping complete this job by hauling out the demolished materials!

Here's a small bamboo clearing job we completed recently in Pottstown, PA. Bamboo spreads quickly and roots deep into the ground, and this costumer had it overtaking her yard from the neighboring property. We excavated all of the roots, which went about 18" deep, and hauled them off to be incinerated. Next we brought in topsoil to fill the area, and reshaped the slope so it was less steep. We completed the project with straw matting, loose straw, and grass seed.

We may like tearing things down as much as constructing them! This building was demolished last winter in Honey Brook, Pa after a fire had caused severe damage to the structure. As you can see, it was in close proximity to the neighboring buildings so it was important that we took our time to take it down safely and properly. Once we excavated the foundation and hauled off all debris, we were back in the spring to complete the groundwork for the new structure.
