Before we know it the rain will be filling up these dried up ponds and lakes! But your not getting the full potential out of your ponds when they are full of silt and muck, they create a hazard for your cattle when they start drying out. This particular pond we pulled out 6 to 7 feet of silt that had washed in over the years, what was a 5 foot deep pond was returned back to the original 12 foot depth back to the hard clay bottom.
