Running on about an hour of sleep in the past 37 hours but man was it worth to make it out to the 61G ocean entry this morning. Me an Nick Selway started riding our bikes out at 3am under a beautiful galactic sky withe the perseids meteor shower giving us a show on the way out. Got out to the flow front only to meet up with Cj Kale and Kawika Singson. Man what an awesome way to start the morning!!!!

When Im on Maui I always love shooting this old pier. This time I had an idea in my head on the shot I wanted to create! I shot here for 2 sunsets and the conditions dident allow me to create the vision I had, however Im super stoked on how this shot came out! I actually think its better than what I had in mind.

Finally Made it out to the 61G flo, Ive been so busy with so many projects as of late but I got a call from my buddy CJ Kale Photography and he said he was hiking out with Jay Patel so I decided it was time for my Lava fix. It was so great to be out there again with with Pele and the ocean. Cant wait to get back out.

Woke up at 4am to meet my buddies Nick Selway Don Hurzeler Linda Hurzeler down in the valley for a sunrise. It wasn't a crazy fire sky of a sunrise so I had time to look around for a composition. After several failed ones I noticed every once in a while a big enough wave broke on shore it would hit the river and create these ripples. I got a few shots of it happening in 2 foot sections but scored when this one lined up the river all the way down. It was a great morning!!

So during an Underwater mermaid shoot yesterday, this guy came up and paid us a visit. As he took a big breath of air i knew he was about to dive down, so I did the same and met him at the bottom. Lined him up with the sunrays and got off 4-5 shots. Super excited on how it turned out. Need help with a title for this image.....Any ideas

On my last day at Yosemite, I still did not have the weather I wanted. So I looked at the forecast and debated if I should hang out for the day and wait for sunset in hopes that the weather report was wrong, or bail and look for another location. I decided to make the 4 hour drive to San Fran and man am I glad I did. Here is the sunset I scored from Rodeo Beach that night.
