Next time you are buying a car to scale your fleet, do this so you don’t end up with a lemon 🍋

Take a tool, long screwdriver will do. And place it on the engine while it’s running. Put your ear up to it and listen 🎧

Works just like a stethoscope!!

Don’t just assume that clanking sound while the engine is running is “just how this engine sounds”

Put your tool on various parts of the engine and check each section. If it sounds like someone is clanking a screwdriver against your engine then you’ve got a problem!

“Engine Knock” could mean a few different things. Most commonly if your engine has been improperly serviced over time.

If your mechanic needs to open up your engine to diagnose, this can be THOUSANDS of dollars 💵 and PLENTY of time ⏱
