While “professional” and “serious” names may be forgettable, a too silly business name can lead to not being taken seriously. Try to land somewhere in the middle that represents you, not just in this moment, but also what your business aspires to be in the future. If that’s silly, then go for it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌊 Research similar businesses:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This can help with inspiration as well as help make sure you're able to stand out in your niche. Notice phrasing at the feeling it elicits in you (authoritative, caring, relatable, etc.). How do you want people to feel about your business?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Consider what someone might google that could lead them to your business. What terms and phrases are most likely to be searched most often? Think broadly (i.e. use the terms that most people will use) This will do wonders for your search engine optimization (SEO).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If your URL is taken, consider a new name. That may seem drastic, but for most businesses, your URL is basically your business. You want potential clients to easily be able to find you and not accidentally end up on someone else's page. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your mind is the biggest contributor to your success but it can also work against you 🧠. As entrepreneurs, we are called to dream up what ᴄᴀɴ be, not what is. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your mindset is key. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When doubt, fear, anxiety, unworthiness, etc. inevitably creep in at some point, don’t try to avoid these feelings. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead, feel those feelings and keep working. Acknowledge how you feel and then get back to your to-do list and find something you can cross out. No matter how small. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, having a list of to-dos is paramount in these moments of anxiety and doubt. Instead of overthinking my next step, I have it right there so can begin working without much further thought. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
