In seven days I will be celebrating 17 years of my heart transplant🎉🎉
It has been such a ride seeing my son graduate from high school👨‍🎓, traveling across the country🚘, living in Hawaii, 🏝and now enjoying my job, as a transplant social worker helping other transplant patients.👩‍💼And I am very thankful.
I wanted to do more to help these patients. I'm so excited to say, now I can with my non-profit, Your New Lease On Life Foundation.
My dream is to help many more patients.
I have a goal to raise $1000 or more on or before May 5th 2023.

I CRUSHED IT!!! I had a stress test today. It is part of my annual post transplant check up. Arizona does their stress test different than the one at Duke. They wanted me to do six minutes ( stage 2) and I did 11 minutes. I reached stage 4 which was 3.2 mph at a 14% incline. They wanted my heart to be at 147bmp I went to 150bpm They stopped the test. I was fine. I probably could have gone another minute I am very happy of how I did.
