SB3125 is NOT in the best interest of Hawaiʻi homeowners or Hawaiʻi’s renewable energy future. The current language includes potentially RETROACTIVE changes to the solar tax credit program that could affect homeowners this year, and nothing about it shows the states desire to go renewable.
At a time when Hawaiʻi needs more energy independence, not less, we’re urging our legislators and Governor Green to do what’s right for local families and vote NO or veto SB3125.
Please help spread the word. ☀️🤙

When global fuel costs go up… so do your rates. 🔌
Rates vary by household, but we’re already seeing noticeable increases in recent bills.
That means your bill can go up—even if your usage doesn’t.
Want to see it for yourself?Check your HECO bill breakdown or visit Hawaiian Electric’s website to track fuel cost changes.
Just something to be aware of before your next bill hits.

Best time to get solar? Yesterday 😉

As of 2:00 PM today, approximately 113,800 customers on O’ahu are without power.

KITV News stated, “HECO is urging customers in Hawaii Kai and portions of East Honolulu to prepare for the possibility for extended outages that may last overnight or longer...

On Oahu, East Honolulu relies on power lines that bring electricity to the area from Windward Oahu. Officials confirm that two of the three transmission lines running along the base of the Ko’olau range near Waimanalo and crossing into East Honolulu have been damaged. The single remaining line services the area.”

This past weekend’s storm left more than 14,000 Oʻahu customers without power.

Solar + battery storage doesn’t just keep the lights on- it helps your home keep moving through outages without skipping a beat.

In Hawaiʻi, resilience matters.

…in an outage.

Solar alone isn’t enough.
Solar + batteries = real backup power⚡️🔋
