Honolulu AI and Philosophy's first meetup, and we're starting with a game show, not a lecture!

NO TECHNICAL BACKGROUND NEEDED - THIS IS MORE LIKE A PHILOSOPHY GROUP THIS WEEK.

Part 1: The Live Model Bake-off.
We'll run the same prompts through several AI models side by side on the big screen, from frontier cloud models to small local models running on hardware in the room. Outputs are shown blind. You vote on which is which. Five rounds, including one prompt chosen live by the audience with no safety net, and one Hawaii-specific round where the models will confidently make things up. Bragging rights (and possibly a cheap prize) to whoever guesses best.

Part 2: "Would You Let AI Do This?"
A rapid-fire spectrum exercise. We'll walk through scenarios that start easy (let AI write your work emails?) and get progressively less comfortable (let AI talk to your elderly parent every day?). You stand where you land, and you might get asked to defend it. Starts with laughs. Ends with some genuinely hard questions, which is the whole point of this group.

No technical background needed. If you've ever used a chatbot, or refused to, you're qualified.

Snacks and drinks provided. Just bring opinions.
